STRENGTH THAT COMES FROM KNOWING GOD

Please log in or register to do it.

True strength is not measured only by what we can endure or accomplish, but by the confidence we find in knowing God. When we understand His character, trust His promises, and grow in relationship with Him, we discover a strength that carries us through uncertainty, disappointment, and life’s greatest challenges.

Scripture

“But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”

— Daniel 11:32 (NKJV)

Reflection

Life will bring moments when our own strength feels insufficient. Challenges may overwhelm us, uncertainty may shake our confidence, and disappointment may leave us wondering how to continue. In these moments, knowing God becomes our greatest source of strength.

Knowing God is more than knowing Bible stories or memorising verses. It means developing a personal relationship with Him through prayer, studying His Word, trusting His character, and experiencing His faithfulness in everyday life.

Daniel and his companions faced pressure to compromise their faith, yet they remained steadfast because their trust was rooted in God. Their confidence did not depend on favourable circumstances but on knowing whom they served.

The more we know God, the less we need to be controlled by fear, people’s opinions, or uncertainty about tomorrow. We may still experience weakness, but we learn where to turn for wisdom, courage, and renewed hope.

Ask yourself today: Am I simply learning about God, or am I intentionally growing in my relationship with Him?

Make time to seek Him beyond moments of crisis. The God you learn to trust in peaceful seasons will remain your source of strength when difficult seasons come. True spiritual strength grows as knowing God becomes the foundation of your daily life.

Prayer Point

My Father in heaven, thank You for inviting me into a personal relationship with You. Help me know You more deeply through Your Word, prayer, and daily obedience. When I feel weak, remind me that my strength does not depend on my abilities alone but on my trust in You. Teach me to rely on Your wisdom rather than my understanding and to remain faithful when circumstances are difficult. Let my relationship with You shape my character, strengthen my faith, and guide my decisions. May my life reflect the confidence and peace that come from truly knowing You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Exercise Plan — Strength and Steadiness Routine

-> Brisk walking (25–30 minutes): Walk at a comfortable pace while reflecting on God’s faithfulness and one lesson about His character that strengthens your trust in Him.

-> Full-body strength training (2–3 sets): Perform squats, incline push-ups, and resistance-band rows with controlled movements, focusing on consistency rather than speed.

-> Stretching and mindful breathing (10 minutes): Gently stretch your shoulders, back, and legs while slowing your breathing and reflecting on a Bible promise that encourages you.

Purpose: Support physical strength, endurance, and flexibility while building a consistent rhythm of movement, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

Evangelism Tip

Many people search for strength in achievements, possessions, or the approval of others. Share how knowing God can provide hope and direction beyond life’s changing circumstances. Instead of only telling someone what God can do, share how His character and promises have strengthened your own faith. Invite them to begin discovering God through the Bible and prayer.

Daily Focus

My strength is not rooted in my circumstances or abilities, but in knowing God, trusting His character, and walking with Him every day.
