LET THE GOSPEL TREND: Why We Must Break the Silence and Start Sharing Boldly

Please log in or register to do it.

In a time where memes, celebrity gossip, and the latest dance challenges go viral in minutes, the life-changing message of the Gospel is often buried under digital noise. What happened to the urgency of evangelism? What happened to the fire that once moved early Christians to risk their lives just to tell one more soul about Jesus?

We’re not lacking content. We’re lacking support.

Every day, passionate believers wake up and pour their hearts into gospel-centered content. They write blogs. They produce YouTube videos. They go live on Instagram. They start podcasts. They create digital tracts, short films, music, and messages designed to reach the lost. But many of these efforts fall flat, not because the message isn’t powerful, but because WE—the Body of Christ—refuse to press “Share.”

💬 What Will It Take to Tap and Share?

Ask yourself honestly:

  • How many gospel posts have you shared this week?
  • When last did you subscribe to a Christian YouTube channel trying to make an impact?
  • Have you ever stopped to repost a message that could potentially lead someone to salvation?

We’ll repost jokes, arguments, and controversies without hesitation. But when it comes to the message of Christ, we get silent, timid, and passive. Why? Are we ashamed of the gospel? Paul said it clearly in Romans 1:16:

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes…”

If we believe the Gospel is the power of God, why don’t we treat it like it’s powerful?

🚨 We’re Losing the Digital Battle

The internet is one of the most powerful mission fields of our time—but we’re barely present. Influencers with no interest in Christ dominate the algorithms while our pastors, evangelists, and Christian creators fight shadows in digital obscurity. The problem isn’t just reach—it’s that Christians scroll past each other’s work, watch without subscribing, and consume without supporting.

We’ve become isolated ministries—working in silos. Competing instead of collaborating. Comparing instead of encouraging.

“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it…” — 1 Corinthians 12:26

When we refuse to support one another, we hurt the entire body. We delay the gospel’s reach. We miss chances to win souls.

📱 Don’t Underestimate Your Click

That “like” you ignore might be the boost an evangelistic video needs to show up on someone’s feed who desperately needs Christ.

That podcast you didn’t share might be exactly what a friend battling depression needed.

That Instagram page you didn’t follow might belong to a young Christian struggling to keep going in ministry.

Your one tap can open heaven for someone else. Let that sink in.

🔥 It’s Time to Mobilize the Church Online

We must make the Gospel trend. That doesn’t mean compromising its truth for entertainment. It means becoming intentional with our influence. If Christ could entrust the Good News to twelve ordinary men and expect global impact, what could He do with millions of Christians armed with smartphones?

We need a mindset shift:

Share gospel content regularly.
Support those creating Jesus-centered media.
Subscribe to channels preaching the truth.
Pray for and partner with digital missionaries.
Engage with posts, comments, likes, and messages.
Step out and start creating if God has placed it on your heart.

🌍 Beyond the Screen: The Digital Divide

And for those still offline? Let’s not forget them. Use every opportunity to share Christ in person. Print out devotionals. Share testimonies at family gatherings. Bring the Gospel to the streets, the bus stops, the workplaces, the villages. The message must go beyond the algorithm.

Matthew 24:14 says:

“This Gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

Let’s not wait for someone else to do it. Let’s be the reason the Gospel reaches another soul. Let’s be the generation that made Jesus trend—not for fame, but for eternity.

📲 Ready to make an impact? Start here:

  • Find and follow gospel-centered creators.
  • Subscribe to that Christian YouTube channel.
  • Repost a powerful message today.
  • Text a sermon clip to someone offline.
  • Be the reason someone hears the name of Jesus this week.

Let’s stop working alone. Let’s break the silence. Let’s make the Gospel go viral—because souls are worth more than views.
