HEALING BEGINS WITH LOVE: LETTING GOD MEND THE HEART

Please log in or register to do it.

God does not heal the heart through force or haste. He heals through love that gently reaches the deepest wounds and restores what was broken.

Scripture

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
—Psalm 147:3 (NIV)

Reflection

Healing begins when love is allowed to enter places shaped by pain, loss, or disappointment. Guarded hearts may survive, but they cannot fully heal. God’s love does not rush the process; it patiently rebuilds trust, restores emotional balance, and renews hope. When we allow Him to mend our hearts, pain no longer defines us, His love does. Healing through God’s love creates wholeness, strengthens faith, and prepares the heart to love again without fear.

Prayer Point

My Father in heaven, let Your healing love reach every wounded place in my heart. Mend what has been broken by pain, disappointment, or fear. Restore my joy, renew my trust, and make my heart whole again through Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
