When your identity is rooted in God’s love, you no longer depend on human approval to feel secure or valuable.
Scripture
“Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? … If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
—Galatians 1:10 (NIV)
Reflection
Seeking approval can quietly control decisions, emotions, and self-worth. It creates anxiety, comparison, and exhaustion as you strive to meet shifting expectations. But God’s love is steady and unchanging—it does not fluctuate with performance. In Christ, you are already accepted, chosen, and secure. When you anchor your heart in His approval, confidence grows naturally, and fear of rejection loses power. Strength flows from knowing you are loved first, not evaluated first. Living from divine acceptance produces emotional stability, courage, and peace.
Prayer Point
My Father in heaven, free me from the need for constant approval. Root my identity deeply in Your love. Help me live confidently, guided by Your truth and not by people’s opinions. Strengthen my heart to rest securely in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
