Each year, teams of six Pathfinders dedicate themselves to studying a specific book of the Bible in the New King James Version, Pathfinder Edition. This isn’t casual reading, it’s full immersion. They memorize large portions of scripture, internalizing God’s promises and sharpening their minds with His truth. On challenge day, teams face rigorous questions that test not just memory, but depth of understanding.
But this experience is not just for North America. In the West-Central Africa Division (WAD), the same fire burns through the annual Bible Gem. Just like the PBE, the Bible Gem calls Pathfinders to intense study and memorization of scripture. The goal? To cultivate young disciples whose knowledge of the Word is not just intellectual but transformational, nurturing a relationship with Christ that spills into their homes, churches, and communities.
