FAITH THAT IS NOT INTIMIDATED

Please log in or register to do it.

Faith does not mean the absence of fear; it means refusing to let fear control your obedience to God. When you know who God is, you can face difficult situations with courage, wisdom, and confidence.

Scripture

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
—Bible (2 Timothy 1:7)

Reflection

There will be moments when circumstances make you feel small, uncertain, or afraid. You may face criticism, opposition, rejection, or challenges that seem greater than your ability.

Intimidation becomes dangerous when it causes you to abandon what you know is right. Fear can make you remain silent when you should speak, retreat when you should move forward, or compromise when you should stand firm.

Faith reminds you that the size of the challenge does not determine the greatness of your God. David faced Goliath not because he was physically stronger, but because he trusted the God he served.

Being courageous does not mean acting recklessly. Biblical courage is grounded in prayer, wisdom, truth, and obedience. Sometimes faith means speaking; sometimes it means remaining calm and allowing God to work.

Do not allow people’s opinions to become greater than God’s promises. You do not need everyone’s approval to obey God. When your identity is rooted in Christ, opposition does not have to determine your direction.

When fear rises, pause and remember what God has already brought you through. The same God who sustained you before is still present today.

Ask yourself, “What would faithfulness look like in this situation?” Then take the next right step, even if you still feel afraid.

Faith becomes courageous when trust in God becomes greater than fear of circumstances.

Prayer Point

My Father in heaven, strengthen my faith when I feel intimidated. Help me not to be controlled by fear, people’s opinions, or difficult circumstances. Give me courage to stand for what is right, wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent, and strength to obey You even when obedience is uncomfortable. Remind me that You are greater than every challenge I face. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Exercise Plan — Courage & Confidence Routine

-> Hill or incline walking (20–25 minutes): develops endurance while symbolizing the courage to keep moving upward despite resistance
-> Strength exercises with controlled resistance (squats, push-ups, rows, and lunges, 2–3 sets): builds physical strength through challenging but manageable effort
-> Standing balance and deep-breathing practice (10 minutes): encourages stability, calmness, and controlled responses under pressure

Purpose: Builds physical resilience and steady confidence while encouraging the mindset of facing challenges without allowing fear to take control.

Evangelism Tip

Encourage someone facing fear, rejection, or opposition to place their confidence in God rather than in circumstances. Share how faith can give courage to take the next right step even when fear is still present.

Daily Focus

Do not let intimidation decide your direction—trust God, stand firm, and take the next faithful step.
