Faith is not only believing in what God has said—it is trusting how He chooses to bring it to pass.
Scripture
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
—Bible (Philippians 1:6)
Reflection
It is easier to trust God’s promises than His process. Promises are clear—they give hope, direction, and expectation. But the process often feels slow, uncertain, and uncomfortable. It stretches your patience, challenges your understanding, and tests your consistency.
God’s process is intentional. Every delay, every challenge, and every season of waiting serves a purpose. It shapes your character, refines your motives, and prepares you for what you have been promised. Without the process, the promise may come before you are ready to sustain it.
Trusting the process means releasing the need to control timing and outcomes. It requires you to remain faithful even when progress is not visible. In these moments, growth is happening beneath the surface—discipline is being built, resilience is being formed, and dependence on God is being strengthened.
There will be times when the process does not make sense. But understanding is not a requirement for trust. Faith continues even without full clarity, anchored in the belief that God’s way is purposeful and precise.
Over time, you begin to see that the process was not a delay—it was preparation. What once felt like waiting becomes part of the journey that positioned you for lasting impact.
Prayer Point
My Father in heaven, help me to trust Your process, not just Your promises. Give me patience when the journey feels slow and strength when it feels difficult. Teach me to remain faithful, knowing that You are working in every stage. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
