STRENGTH FOR THE LONG JOURNEY

Please log in or register to do it.

Life is not a short sprint—it is a long journey that requires strength, patience, and steady faith.

Scripture

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
—Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

Reflection

Many seasons in life demand endurance rather than speed. Goals take time to unfold, healing often happens gradually, and meaningful growth develops through patience. When progress feels slow or challenges persist, discouragement can quietly appear. Yet God provides strength not just for moments of victory but for the entire journey.

Strength for the long journey grows through daily dependence on God. Faith anchors the heart when circumstances change, while patience stabilizes emotions during uncertain seasons. Each step forward, no matter how small, builds resilience and wisdom. Over time, steady perseverance produces deeper character and lasting peace. With God guiding the path, the journey becomes sustainable, purposeful, and filled with renewed strength.

Prayer Point

My Father in heaven, give me strength for the journey ahead. Help me remain patient, steady, and faithful even when the path feels long. Renew my energy, strengthen my heart, and guide my steps so that I may continue forward with courage and trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
