CHOSEN AND ACCEPTED: WALKING IN IDENTITY

Please log in or register to do it.

You are not striving to be accepted—you are already chosen in Christ, and your identity flows from that unshakable truth.

Scripture

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
—1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)

Reflection

Many live chasing approval, adjusting themselves to fit expectations, or shrinking to avoid rejection. But identity in Christ is not earned—it is received. When you understand that you are chosen and accepted by God, comparison loses power and insecurity weakens. Walking in identity means living from acceptance, not for it. It shapes decisions, strengthens boundaries, and builds confidence rooted in truth rather than opinion. In Christ, you are secure, purposeful, and deeply valued.

Prayer Point

My Father in heaven, thank You for choosing and accepting me in Christ. Help me walk confidently in my true identity and silence every lie of rejection or comparison. Anchor my heart in Your truth and guide me to live boldly in who You have called me to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
